Happy 2009, B&B fans!

Now that the holidays are over, we hope you will turn your attention to Winterfest Online 2009 which is fast approaching.
The Great Hall opens February 7, 2009 and we want to see you all there!

There is still time to add your creative touch to the celebration. On our precon page,
http://www.beautyandthebeast-tv.com/winterfest2009/precon.asp, you can access all of our previous candles and information 
for WFOL 2009.

However, the ideas never stop in the candlemakers’ workroom and we have a few more suggestions to share with you.

Since Valentine’s Day falls within Winterfest Online this year, we have some special activities for you.

Valentine’s Day and poetry go hand in hand.  So we would like you to compose a poem of any length and style, to Vincent or 
Catherine, or the happy couple.   Sweet.  Romantic. Humorous.  It’s up to you!  
If poetry isn’t your forte, then design and create a card or a wallpaper with a Valentine theme.  It might be a card 
Vincent could send to Catherine, or one from Catherine to Vincent.  Or maybe you want to wish the couple a Happy 
Valentine’s day yourself.   Here is your chance to do just that.   

Calling all singers, musicians, actors and anyone else who has a talent to share with our fandom! It’s the Annual 
Winterfest OnlineTalent Show Chat and we need YOU to make it a success. If you love to sing, play an instrument, recite 
poetry, put on skits or entertain people in your own creative style, you will never find a more appreciative audience. All 
you need is a microphone for us to hear you and if you would like us to see you, a web cam. Just let us know who you are 
and what you are planning on performing. And all you people out there who feel you don’t have a talent? We beg to differ. 
Everyone can clap their hands and we need you there to put your hands together and cheer on the entertainers.

 Hello to all of you,

 The wintercandlemakers would like to begin our candle by saying,

 "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VINCENT.  Enjoy your day to the fullest and we’ll see you soon at Winterfest Online 2009.”

 We also have a few announcements for the fans.

 Beauty and the Beast has always gone hand in hand with caring for others; WFOL has continued that tradition. This year
 our selected charity is Direct Relief International, which focuses on improving the health of impoverished people 
 throughout the world.  During our celebration you may make a direct monetary contribution or bid on our BATB ebay 
 items with all proceeds going to our charity.  And if you have something you would like to donate to our auctions, 
 please contact us as soon as possible at the email addy below.

 Our last candle asked for Valentine cards.  We realize that love abounds through all seasons, Above and Below, and 
 among all residents; so Valentines from anyone to anyone are welcomed.

 

While we’re on the subject of submissions, we are still accepting your contributions through January 24th.   There is 
still plenty of time to add your “seasonings” to our feast.  Don’t forget about our Listening Chamber, which is feeling
a bit neglected this year, and don’t be afraid to enter our Talent Show. Details for all submissions can be found here:
