Hi Kleiner . Good work you made for the dect phones The last time I had no time ti finish my dect projet.
I have several questions. You made det range test with a yagi antenna.You added this antenna on a 4010 bs,ok .On this bs there 2 antenna for diversity mod ,where did y add your antenna ,did you delete one on the BS? How did you do?Can you show me pictures????
You made a test link ,2 miles,it's great range ok the hanset could receive data from the bs cause you add the antenna ,but the handset has no antenna,could he transmint data with only 10 mw and now new antenna to the bs???? So if you connected your BS to your network home ,could you make a call with the handset at 2 miles??????? I have new pictures about dect handset and bs and repater do you want it??? You have abandon the power amplifier for dect project? I'm looking for a way to increase range dect phone with discret components,no with a big antenna can you help me? Thanks a lot

Hi...
I removed the small pin-diode switch and add a SMA - connector.
Also the pin-diode absorbate about 3db, so i life without the diversity funktion and got approximate 250mW of extra power to the SMA plug (;->

The coax to the Yagi is 3m and very poor, but my last 4010 Base died on strong thunderstorm (;-<
In the near of the base the is not such a big differece between a isotopic or directional antenna.
But after a few hundred meters the Yagi delivers great results.
The best range was 4.94 miles and a clear strong signal, but to slow to pass the right time slot in the bs.
Also the clock funktion don't work, because the pp ask the bs for correct time reception.
The pp was still original !!!
I marked all "suitable calls" with "funktion" Yes or No
So my best result was 2 miles without line of sign !!!
The damn 24 timeslots and therefor hight data rate without enough guard periode makes long range operation still not possibly. The signal level after 4.94 miles was 20 !!! without line of sign and a original mobile part.
Questions...? Tell me our results...!
